Refund policy
AVAILABILITY
It is your responsibility to check our availability before placing an order. If you select a date that is unavailable or already booked out you will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee, it is always best to check with us before placing an order if you are unsure.
CANCELLATIONÂ
ONLINE ORDERS
For any cancellations of online shop orders, a refund may be issued minus a $25 Admin/Processing fee if; at least 7 days notice is provided and no custom products have been made/ordered in (we always prefer you to reschedule your order with us so you don't have to incur the fees)
CUSTOM ORDERS
Any cancellations/ request for a refund will result in the loss of your NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT (50% of your total order price), If you cancel within 7 days of your event the full amount will be forfeited. If you cancel with more than 7 days notice your non-refundable deposit, custom products and Admin fee $25 will be forfeited.
REFUNDS
No Refunds available on food items. All products are made to order and therefore are all custom orders no matter what product is being preordered.
Partial Refunds that are requested due to dissatisfaction of Decoration, Colour shades or design will not be honoured - When selecting Galvinchi Desserts you are trusting our style of design and opinion for a custom cake.
If you are unsatisfied with the flavour of your cake, we request that at least half of the cake is returned for assessment within 5 days.
DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Once your cake/cookies/dessert has left the Galvinchi Desserts premise we are no longer liable for any damages or errors made
Delivery once Galvinchi Desserts have left the premise we are no longer liable for any damages or errors made. We try our best to package cookies/boxes for postage to protect them during transit but we cannot guarantee they will arrive in perfect condition.
Tickets/Class BookingsÂ
For any reason you wish to cancel your ticket you will be provided with a credit note of the ticket amount (with a 6 month expiry). If you cancel within 7 days of the class you will be provided with a credit note less the amount of the cake/cupcakes and any decorations, buttercreams already prepped for your spot in our class.
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A FEE?
As a small business we incur a lot of operational and transaction fees, for any reason you wish to cancel your order we have to pass on the fees we are charged to process your initial and reversal of your order with the fees we are charged with on our online platform and admin time.
